The Blount family has been in the food business since 1880. Blount Fine Foods is a custom foods company creating fabulous soups and premium prepared foods for club stores, grocery stores and restaurants throughout the country. Blount runs production facilities in Warren, RI, Fall River, MA and McKinney, TX. Our seafood background has established us as the largest producer of clam chowder in New England and the largest manufacturer of lobster bisque in the country. But this does not limit us from making awesome beef chili, chicken tortilla and organic tomato soup.
In recent years, we have combined our experience in creating delicious soup and seafood recipes, with our love of the New England coast, to open our Blount Clam Shack restaurants. Our seasonal outdoor locations offer guests a nostalgic clam shack experience with favorites such as clam cakes & chowder, fish & chips, lobster rolls, and much more. With indoor dining, Blount Clam Shack and Market serves clam shack favorites all year long and sells the freshest seafood, fantastic gourmet soups and unique specialty foods.
